Secondary options for a Mikvah

-Going to the Mikvah is one of the most important actions needed to remain pure.
-Every person should try to go every day, especially people living outside the land of Yisroel.
-Those people that find it impossible to go every day, should at least go on Erev Shabot.
-Erev Rosh Hashanah and Erev Yom Kippur are almost mandatary, who wants to enter judgment in an impure state.
-If a person experienced a nocturnal emission (Mikre Liyla), he must do everything in his power to go to the Mikvah as soon as possible.
-Most Mikvos open very early in the morning, some as early as 3:00 AM.
-Almost all Mikvos are clean and have showers.
-One should not worry about walking around with out clothes, for you can wrap a towel around your self until the last second. One can also dip in a river or lake.
-If a person tries as hard as he can and yet he finds it absolutely impossible to go to a mikvah, then he should use one of these secondary methods of purifying himself. Going to a Mikvah is a lot more powerful then these methods, however these methods are much better then nothing at all.

Warning these methods will not work for a women, she is a Niddah until she goes to a proper Mikvah.

-The first method involves rinsing the body in Nine Kavim of water.
-The nine kavim equal around 12.5 litters of water.
-The water should be poured on the person from his head down running on his entire body.
- Water should preferably be poured by a second person and in three different batches.

-The second method involves the rinsing of the hands forty times.
-For preceding meditations and prayers see end of Shari Kedusha published by Eshkol
.
-One takes a large cup and pours water totally covering his hand up to his wrists. as he pours the water he should meditate on the following letters.
- During the first 20 rinses one switches between right and left hands. During the last 20 one does ten rinses on right hand then ten on the left hand.
