Q      How much is a 36 hour fast worth?

A     36 is not worth more then 24hrs, however the extra effort might be considered a personal siguf which is also a tikkun. There is one tikkun where on a leap year during certain circumstance if one fasts 36 hrs it is considered the equivalence of many fasts.

Q     Also, how does one perfectly fast between Shabbos and festivals and such, since you aren’t supposed to go into Shabbat hungry and then afterwards is melava malka?

A     The Tzadikim who fasted Shabbos to Shabbos would skip milava malka and overlook the element of going in to Shabbot hungry, this is understandable since they were doing so for a good cause.

Fasting Shabbos to Shobbos in this generation is not recommended.

Q     I  was doing quite well and actually yesterday was 3 weeks free of this terrible aveira. I feel really bad for doing this and it felt like an animal took over me. Needless to day, every day has been a struggle, and it feels like I am in constant war with the yeitzer.

A      Many people fall as they try to become Shomer Habris, the main thing is to get up and try again. It will become easier and easier. Remember the main thing is not to give up, if you fall not to get depressed only try harder next time. If you keep on trying you are guaranteed that very soon you will have the capability to be Shomer Habris.

Rabanu Nachman of Breslov taught that when a person is far away from Hashem then each and every minor move he makes to become closer is very great in Hashemes eyes.

Also remember that falling did not uproot the fact that you were Shomer Habris for 3 weeks that is still a great accomplishment that was not erased.

Q     Where can I find Tikkun Hayesod from the Ben Ish Chi ?

A     Tikkun Hayisod is in Lashon Chachamim by the Ben Ish Chi.

Q     Is reading Tikkunay Zohar a Tikkun ?

A     Reading Tikkuny Zohar is more powerful then reg Zohar. Even if a person simply utters the words it purifies his soul. Rebbe Nachman and Rebbe Aharon Ratteh.

Q     Please let me join Breslov .

A     We do not represent Breslov in general, we are simply a small group that does Tikkunim together. There are a number of sites on the web where you can learn more about Breslov. Unlike other groups there is no central group but rather many sub groups with no association other then following the teachings of Rebbe Nachman.

Q    I am trying my hardest to be Shomer Habris however yesterday I was taken over by my yetzer and I fell. If heaven forbid this happens again what should I do immediately after falling ?

Immediately after the sin a persons lust temporarily leaves him. He should immediately take the chance to do tsuvah and regret the action he just did. A fine line must be drawn between falling into depression and having a broken heart. Rebbe Nachman teaches that depression is the worst path a person can choose and that it will only cause him to sin more. At the same time to ignore what just happened is also unacceptable. A person must therefore have a broken heart which can be defined as complete regret but at the same time ambition to get up and start again and heaven forbid not fall and give up.

Analyze what caused it to happen. More important then the end try to narrow down the beginning, the first steps that started the path to the sin. Now make commitments that will prevent you from taking those first steps in the future.

Wash your self of of the zera and change you clothes. Wash your hands regular, then do the 40 times while meditating on the shem AB (72) as brought down on the site.

Next opportunity you get go to the Mikvah and then recite the tikkun klalli.

Q      My inquiry is as follows. Religion and the jewish outlook (kabbalistic insight etc.) on the waste or non-waste of seed aside, is there any modern scientific empirical statistical research that has been recorded in a medical journal that affirms the assertion that there is some sort of health impediment or detriment to male health or the the health of a potential child.

A      There must be many sources. We do not keep track of them since when compared to the words of the Sages the words of the scientists are worthless.

Q    I am not Jewish, can I join your group?

A     Our group does very intense Tikkunim and one must prove himself before he can join. In addition although we strongly respect righteous gentiles, we nevertheless only include Jews in the group.

Q     I give massages and recently I stopped giving massages to women for the sake of Shmiras Habris. There are now a group of women threatening to sue me. Should I get a lawyer or relay on the merit of this act to save me?

A     If there is a way to avoid a confrontation you should use it. The rule is one can be confident in being victorious in the fight against the wicked if he is clean himself. If a person is not clean himself, even if at that point he is right and doing the right thing he might not have enough merit to win.

If however there is no other option, then you must fight it full force and never compromise about Shmiras Habris.

Q    What is the easiest way to do Pay Daled Tanasim?

A
Easiest way is to use Hafsekot and then complete the rest with single fasts.
2 day = 27 fasts 3day = 40 fasts
.

Q     How am I supposed to never touch my Bris? What if I am married?

A     It is very easy to not look and touch your bris, simply don't do so.

The benefits of doing do so are that it prevents you from ever coming close to being pogem habris. In addition it draws a lot of Kedusha upon yourself. many Tzadikim boasted that they never did so in their life.

If a person is married and his wife is not a Nidah it is permissible except for the membrane. However it is better to avoid if possible.

As far as cleaning one should not touch the exact spot and should relay on the water falling from the shower.

Q     I have acne does this have anything to do with me spilling seed?

A      If you stop being Pogem Habris your acne will go away. There is no excuse to waste seed, control yourself. Each time you commit this sin you damage your holy jewish soul in much worse ways then acne. If it is hard then use the advice in our web site briskodesh.org . Also start studying and following the path of the holy Tzadik Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. If you do so you will yet fix all the damage and become a righteous man.

Q     How can I try to get married? I'm broke and have no money.

A     There is one thing and only one thing that works...
Yell out to Hashem over and over again.

Q      I am single and need help being Shomer Habris .

A     Try very hard to get married. Also start going through the books of Rebbe Nachman of Bresslov and start to follow his advice little by little.

Q      How can I get married when I still need to do teshuva gemura for Pgam Habris?

A     You should try your hardest to get married. Real Tikkunim can not be made until one is married. In addition it will greatly help you be Shomer Habris. You should not delay this at all and go forward with it even if there are obstacles in the way and sacrifices to make.

Q     If I want to be Shomer Habris I will lose my job.

A      There is a tradition amongst us that you are never allowed to advise a person to be Mosser Nefesh. Every person must come to that conclusion on his own.

We will reiterate however, that Hashem has many ways to send people money and if he sees that you are truly trying to be Shomer Habris he will send you another source of income.

Q     Why did you put up this site?

A     There are three things that are called a ‘Os’ a sign that a person is Jewish. These are Shabbos, Tiffilin and Shmiras Habris. While there are many publications and organizations that promote the observance of Shabbos and the use of Teffilin, the topic of Shmiras Habris is almost completely ignored.

According to the Kabbalah, Shmiras Habris is the most important of the three. In addition any person that is Shomer Habris properly is constantly dressed by a spirit of holiness and is easily able to observe the other commandments in the Torah.

Since this is a very uncomfortable topic and most people do not know where to find information of this, we put up a site discussing many of the various elements of Shmiras Habris.

Q   I have a job that involves physical contact with women and at night I see Keri.

A   It is close to impossible to have physical contact with women and expect to be saved from Keri. Hashem controls all the money in the world and he can easily give you other methods of income. This does not mean that as soon as you make a commitment a bag of money will fall from heaven. However if Hashem sees that you are honestly and truly trying, in the end he will refund you all your losses and give you a steady income replacement.

Q   Could you describe in detail the fast of Ari and other tikkunim for Pogem Habrit, Please?

A     Segufim are very hard to do, since in addition to the actual segufim a person is often met with a huge amount of opposition coming from all directions when he begins to first do segufim. There is also the let down factor. Meaning segufim are effective, however some people have unrealistic goals of where segufim can take them. When they do not receive these goals after having placed so much sacrifice and effort, it breaks them.

As a general rule we do not advise people in segufim.

Q     Is planting trees in Eretz Yisroel a Tikkun for Pgam Habris?.

A     Rebbe Nachman writes that living in Eretz Yisroel is a very large Tikkun for Pgam Habris. We do not know if it involves physically having to work the land, although what you are saying could be true.

Q    I wish to get married. I am 25 and, given my falling from the path in past years, I am still a student in university. I truly want to get married and I daven regularly to find my zivug however I feel as though at this stage in my life I will not be able to afford taking care of a wife and raising a family.

A    You should try to get married as soon as possible. Firstly a person does not always find his zivug immediately and it may take time to reach that point. Secondly the Kabbalah teaches that all a persons money comes because of his wife. When you find a wife, Hashem has more then enough ways to give you money to live and to have all your goals work out.

Q    It seems that I am doomed to fail I go strong for a few days then I relapse and again yesterday it was pretty bad I try to fight really I do but it seems that there is nothing i can do I will just fail again it is so hard to resist

A    First of all know that many people fall the a number of times before they succeed in being Shomer habris. The trick is to get up and continue trying.

What also helps is if a person is very careful not to watch movies or even read newspapers and magazines.

Q   I will listen to your advice and start learning Bresslov books every day. Should I spend all my time only learning Likutay Maharan?

A    It should not be only Liktay Maharan since it is very complex and you might get burned out after a while. Try the lighter Breslov Sefarim that talk mostly about avodas Hashem.

Q    Can you send me some pamphlets to give out in my church?

A     Our group is opposed to the idea of sending out the pamphlets to a non jewish institution, since they contain chapters of tehilim and have G-Ds name written out.

In general we do agree that even non jews can work on purifying themselves and become closer to G-D.

Q    I am not Jewish can your group convert me?

A     Once a person converts he is like any other Jew. There are a number of associates to our group that are converts. However our group itself does not perform conversions.
